Sorry, mate, but I just don’t agree with that way of thinking. If Rosenior comes out in May saying ‘I want to have most of our business done before pre-season begins’, fans will take his word for it. Bristol City have made three signings already and Sunderland and Norwich are getting business done early as well. I’m not concerned tbh as there’s loads of time but he does need to choose his words better.
If he said he wants his business done early then he wasn't lying was he, as I'm sure he wants it done early. I think people taking "I want it done early" and twisting that to "we will have our business done early" are the problem and not Liam
I rather think some are taking 'wanting it to be done' to be meaning it shall be done, loads of variables in transfer dealings which very rarely runs smoothly before ya get things sorted. Let's just have a modicum of patience and not put too much emphasis on misinterpretation.
Isn’t the wanting business done early just a strong desire or wish,? It can only be more than that if his targets have shown serious interest or are in a position to be acquired relatively easily . Let’s forget , personal terms , fee negotiation , loans , swap deals , waiting on other moves at City and at the selling club, knock on deals , clubs willing to release , players wanting to come here , players with wives ( Shane Long ) who don’t want to move to an outpost out of ignorance , players who want to be near London , Manchester , Birmingham for easy travel abroad or who believe there’s so much more to do . Clubs will often make ‘easy’ signings if the player is ‘stepping up ‘ on several levels . All this had to happen in most cases so I would expect delays or ‘apparent’ slow progress.
We won’t be promoted this season anyway. Acun’s selling a dream, an unrealistic one like the lottery. Or for anyone that sees the ads for online casino fruit machines , they always show you the most unrealistic spin where the jackpot falls in straight away. I don’t blame LR for not getting us promoted, I think, maybe in 2/3 years, we might be challenging for the playoffs if we keep him, but I just don’t see Acun having the patience, more likely to be relegated with him in charge.
Inside the football transfer market's answer to RightMove and Amazon 1hr ago Representatives of global superclubs such as and are among those to have descended on Sao Paulo for the latest transfer 'speed-dating' event, which takes place over the next two days. Picture it now: On table 12, an agent is discussing his player, who wants to leave his current side, with a potential suitor. Two rows down, a club is wrapping up a transfer for one of their key targets, and next to them a conversation is underway which could lead to a big-money move in the future. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...transfer-markets-answer-RightMove-Amazon.html
The massive contradiction on this board though is when people throw a hissy fit at Sonny Bradley being signed as he's not a ball playing centre half and doesn't suit Rosie's system but we have a forward who isn't great with the ball and doesn't suit Rosie's system who everyone defends. Sonny ain't on £30k a week either...
