They have a feel about them. A positive energy about them. It's very similar to us in terms of vibe there, and indeed they had a better League 1 season than we did. I don't begrudge their fans at all in being excited.

 

If it’s a toss up between simms for 3.5 or maja for free I’d probably edge towards maja

 

I know its natural for all of us to want things to happen quickly but i definitely think there's an element of keeping some of our powder dry this summer.

If (big if) we get an acceptable offer for Clarke, then the spending power that gives us is significant and opens up a whole new market to us.

So whilst I think we should move quickly for our first choice players if we can afford them without selling - we should hold off any peripheral players until we know budget.

 

Yeah I think your right there, the top loans will be after the parent clubs have had a good look at them in pre season, we have a solid base to start with so not the same rush as previous seasons for me
