I'm sure I read somewhere that Darlow uprooted his family and moved to the area when he was here. He's a good keeper and no doubt will have options, would like to see him back but I'm sure Tan and Rosie have alternative options lined up.
He and his family enjoyed their time here, he's said he's be happy to come back, but he has options that include staying up north. We aren't desperate and don't desperately need him as the club know we have a very capable #1 already here. So we won't be getting caught in a bidding war and putting silly money into this deal. Club recognises that money is needed more in other areas.

Actually old chap my snout works for Hull Cars in Anlaby. Although he is an avid FC fan he knows much of the latest transfer news.
Hmm We do But I thought we were better with Darlow than without him. And given what a key position it is I’d hope we’d have a decent go at getting him tbh
Nobody has said we aren't giving it a decent go at getting him, but just being sensible. Money isn't unlimited and we aren't desperate. He knows he's highly rated and wanted here. But we can't and won't be paying over the odds for him and his contract etc. The GK position isn't the #1 want&need this summer for us in regards to funds being allocated. I'd love to have him back and see him & Ingram battle it out as we'd be in a great and envious position in regards to GKs. But Darlow isn't the only option for us or others
Bit underwhelming tbh. Wasn't Twine injured a lot last season? And I still don't ser how Bradley fits into "Roseyball"
