Anyone else keep hearing proschwitz and thinking bloody hell he’s done well <laugh>
My missus asked me if it was the one who played for city?yes I said the only German player to ever miss a penalty. He’s done really well since been shown the door by Steve Bruce.

It’s funny reading stuff today on Twitter & Facebook. All “rival” fans giving out **** because it was a bit of a **** game, Newcastle fans thinking they’re going to be winning it next year, Liverpool fans being bitter because they were so far behind & didn’t even make the CL next season. The Utd fans blithering on about how they did it without cheating financially. Well as there was no tracking of finances like there is today, we’ll never know.
Even Chelsea fans are trying to get in on it too<laugh>.

More dribbles than anyone since Messi in 2015
Take a bow son

There were shimmies and feints, more completed dribbles than any player in a Champions League final since Lionel Messi in 2015, one comically atrocious touch on the hour that rocketed off his foot as he contemplated a shot and improbable glory, and a general sense of imposing control.

Never has the “Barnsley Beckenbauer” moniker seemed more appropriate. This was Stones as the libero, the ultimate expression of the point Jack Charlton made in 1994 that tactically the full-back is the most important player on the pitch, the one with the freedom to dictate the shape of the game. In a largely scrappy and ugly encounter, especially after Kevin De Bruyne had been forced off, Stones offered a sense of authority. It probably isn’t coincidence that the extraordinary chance Romelu Lukaku missed late on and the Robin Gosens header that Ederson saved came after Stones had gone off.

Stones himself thought he played crap....!!.... IMO shows how good Pep is, to convert a CB into what Stones has shown recently... Klopp tried to copy with TA-A... I bet Southgate wont see it though,,,

Stones has been bloody brilliant in these two finals. I knew he was good on the ball but his buildup play from that midfield position is amazing. Little turns and drops of the shoulder to beat the press and open up a space.

Don’t think Southgate has the bottle and creativity to let Stones do what he’s now doing. Maybe we can getGreaves to do this he’s not bed when he moves forward .

I dont have BT sport... but their coverage was great, especially not having to listen to Mikah Richards... as for the swearing whilst they apologised, I dont think they where that bothered.

England's biggest dearth of talent is at centre back, so moving Stones out of that position probably isn't feasible.

Remember going to a show at Earls Court in 1978 and it was 50p a pint....
I've been in that same Earl's Court cabin cruiser. Mid 70s. Me and a few mates took advantage of a £3 return to London BR ticket. Went to see Chelsea v Liverpool FA Cup 3rd round game...Stopped off in Earl's Court on the way. The price of a pint certainly could be guaranteed to bring a tear to a glass eye.
