So do i, he was too good for a few seasons - def a few red flags when players down tools like he did last season, i think its put of some of the elite teams that were linked with him this time last yr

Agree one of my hates about football...
they get paid so should at min put a shift in...people do in nornal lives at work.

tbf i remember Jack Grealish doing the same the year Villa went down, then he grafted to get them back up & is now at city....sometimes its difficult to tell if its that individual or the collective group there in

Does Tielemans walk into that midfield unless they sell Luiz?

They've got 5 good central midfielders now (Luiz, Kamara, McGinn, Ramsey). They'll be aiming to win the Conference League and go deep in the cups next season though, so they'll need a squad to play 65 matches without dropping down the league like West Ham did.

They’re signing Oxlade-Chamberlain anarl. Tielemans attitude was **** this season can’t see him being happy warming the bench.

I don't think he will be warming the bench. I think he'll start 30 games and be sub in 20. He'll be fine with that. The lad is 26 and there's been no indication of a bad attitude with the exception of last season. More to do with a toxic atmosphere at the club in general in my opinion.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is a free and will be competing for a different position in my opinion. He'll be going up against Buendia and Bailey I'd think and will be a back up far more often.

Aye, I’d expect Ox to be backup. Villa’s midfield depth will be pretty crazy for a team that’s not one of the “big 6”.

They need another striker mind. I’d be tempted to trigger Dybalas release clause I’m sure it’s only about £13m this season. Great 9 but also versatile across the front line.

When fit, Dybala is exceptional. I agree that they need another, and versatility is probably the right approach because Watkins is rightly first choice and they only play with 1.

Take Kane out of the Spurs squad and Villa are possibly as strong. They've got a very good manager and every chance of pushing for the Champions League positions next year, if Europe doesn't test their squad too much.

Definitely, I’d agree with that - Spurs are so reliant on Kane. I think if he leaves they need to think very carefully about who they re-invest that money on.

Pep even prefers to play Stones in the holding midfielder role now infront of Phillips alongside Rodri. Says it all.
He was a strange signing for them really and he let his head over rule his heart. He should never have made such a big step up so soon

Foden coming on to play the KDB role - exactly where England should be playing him. Let’s see how he goes!

They probably were but I'm not sure they were right for him. He wants to go somewhere where he'll be first choice and will be a fan favourite. Half the teams in the prem fit the bill.
Quality player, signed for big money who has just lost his way? I know just the team for him.
