0 wins in a dozen or so games and openly derided during Cup defeat to MK Don's didn't help, nor did the fact that he was responsible for bringing in Barton, SWP, Luke Bloody Young, Gabidon, Ferdinand Anton all of whom made us worse than the team that won the championship..... plus sent Clint out on loan, sold Gorkass and Connolly......
I know he was hamstrung by tango and cash but he fecked up big time.....

Wow, that's a bit of a reality check: a lot to be responsible for. Might have to get my rose-tinted spectacles recalibrated.

Agree & there was a few times he was just strolling about & didn’t seem to care like the others , good player when he puts his mind to it

I think that's more his languid style than anything else, although he may have had that "I'm a Premier League player, why am I here?" going around his head too.
I'm hopeful he'll really flourish next season if he's settled on being here for another loan. He's got great potential.

Really don't think Tim being back in training...and Jimmy saying it is good...means that he is coming back

We’re warmzin, Beth. The future is bright.

The kid won’t see the ball sailing over his head 50 times a half but we’ll cross that bridge later. Today is a day of celebration.

Good point. Hard to see how a ball playing midfielder fits in. Unless of course Gareth surprises us with his style of play.

As a small antidote to the doom and gloom, consider this.

1. New pitch. A million when Harry ordered it in 2014, probably two now.
2. Training ground. Significant investment going in.
3. Funding a pre-season in Austria.

It is just possible that our owners, well used to playing the long game in business, are biding their time for another run at the PL.

Here's hoping!

The 2027 National League promotion push will be glorious.
