Absolutely. But he's there openly saying he'd stay and help fight to get the team back up. As long as an Arsenal don't come in (which they won't) then he stays. There's a loose rumour that Villa might be interested, but if it's Everton offering £15m or something, sod that.

I would at least expect a club to be offering 25/30 Million for Sulemana. If they don't pay up then jog on, Hopefully they'll act professional enough to knuckle down and tear up the league.

I can't see many defenses if any handle Sulemana or Alcaraz.

If we keep them all, an attacking group of Alcarez, Sulemana, Tella, and A Armstrong - supported by Edozie and the kids - should have enough in the Championship. If Martin feels like he needs to add a central striker to that, and bring Piroe with him, then all the better.

Che can be sold for a relatively decent fee, rather than run down his final year. Big Paul can be offloaded for whatever can be manage. Aribo...maybe we beg Rangers to take him back.

I'm relaxed about Stu staying, but given the choice I would move him on.

I still have no idea about Mara.

Of the player of a significant value, I think I would sell Salisu, JWP, KWP and Adams preferrably before pre-season.
We may not be able to keep players, but we will have influence as to when they leave.
I don’t know how much Solak is expecting back, but the more we can generate in cash from this group of players, we can hardball a bit more with the younger ones

HT in the L1 playoff final: Barnsley 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

After this, we’ll know the full set of 24 teams. I selfishly want the Owls to do it because I fancy a trip to Hillsborough

Wednesday have only just been promoted about forty minutes three massive club mentions for them there will be a competition between them and Leeds who can rip away fans off most

Loftus Road, Hillsborough and Deepdale all near top of my list for next season. Gutted to lose Luton :(

Looking forward to Rotherham and Plymouth too hopefully.

Anyone think we'll go back to the (semi-succesful) well that was clearly a big part of the strategy last season?

There's no secret we were in hard for Delap at one point. He'd still be available at Champ level after an indifferent season. There will be others who were on the 'wonderkid' list who might still be options.

I'm not saying they are they right option (though I wouldn't hate Delap), just wondering if that's possibly still the direction we go down again.

I think its certainly going to be our policy from now, and I've no problem with it, as long as it's done in moderation. This summer though I think we need to focus on bringing in two or three midfielders who are experienced and ready to hit the ground running. We already have enough youngsters.

If I am correct the only 4 teams in the Championship not to have played Premiership football are Bristol City, Millwall, Plymouth, and Rotherham. It shows how tough this league is.
