Pretty sure the powers that be were well aware of the physicality of the Championship, having spent most of their time in it for the last decade or two.

Nee updates on Rossco like? Sure it was mentioned a couple of months back that it had 'never been closer', seems to have all gone quiet.

My guess sold in the summer. If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck it's a duck :emoticon-0105-wink:
 
Wouldn't be surprised if we don't sell any of the players regularly mentioned, unless we are offered daft money. I also don't think they would be desperate to move when you think of why they have ended up here:

Clarke - big move to Spurs didn't work out and is now playing every week - will he get that?
Roberts - as above but moved around on unsuccessful loans numerous times - does he want another move so quick?
Neil/Patterson - now playing regularly for their local team - would they be number ones elsewhere?
Cirkin - left Spurs to play mens football and is now doing that - would he get that elsewhere?

Most of the others came because of the "project" which has barely started so don't think there would be a rush to go yet.

The only one I am not sure about is Stewart, who seems to be stalling with signing his contract. Hope he stays but not sure if he wants to.

The major downer on the above is if a players head gets turned with massive wage offers, but a lot of them have left Premiership clubs to join the project (Alese, Ekwah, Ballard etc).

Hopefully they all stay and we build upon it, ready for an automatic push

If I was Stewart I wouldn’t sign a deal now, I’d give it till Christmas and see if I got form back hoping for a better offer.

He could wait thinking he could get a move or better deal.....then not comeback the same player or get a bad injury again & the deal he had on the table could be the best he ever gets offered again.....i think there will be concerns for the club reference a new deal also

Don't mean to sound a dick, but can we rule out the bloke mentioned if you've no idea who it is? Appreciate that sounds dick-ish. I promise I don't mean it that way haha!
