So someone who was on £25k a year before tax is now on just under £28k rather than just over £26k. Meanwhile they’d need to be on £29k for their income to have kept up with inflation before considering any increase in their taxes and the likelihood their personal inflation is likely to be higher than the official level plus any other additional costs they’ve incurred as a result of Brexit. Power to the people.
The Englishman who did my espresso in an independent coffee shop today was very nice and seemed chirpy. I hope he’s on a solid wage given it cost me £2.50 for something with a cost of goods of about 7p. If not I’ll be supporting his right to strike. Here’s a photo of him.
I don’t believe you. If you’re so infatuated with the EU, there is no way that you would be supporting workers rights to strike. Instead you’d be looking at bussing in cheaper workers to undercut the strikers. Fascist scab !!!
If it was up to me we’d all be striking at random points in the year for better conditions. I’ve e-mailed Andre Dozzell advising him to strike from August to May, for example.
You get enough holidays and only work from 9 till 3. And you ruin the future of our kids. I read that in the Mail so it must be true
Leaving is the nuclear option, and if we did, I imagine similar provisions would be included in a new Human Rights Act. The current injunction issue must be resolved. Current Immigration draft act will allow UK to ignore such rulings. If ECHR challenge, we'll leave.
If you trust this government to protect your rights where it doesn’t have to you’re even more of a mug than I thought.
Yes, relative to the long since proved corrupt and lazy Johnson. If you wish to be a stupid old git that’s up to you.
I’m sure there are. There aren’t many governments as corrupt and untrustworthy with a large segment of the population cheering for reduced living standards as ours though.
