Not a ****ing snowballs chance in Hell we have that as a transfer budget, nowhere ****ing near, go as far to say as it wont even be near half of that. People getting overly excited and making silly numbers up due to potential CL qualification.

Sub £100mill? Maybe, if they can pull off some blinders like this Arda Guler with his £5m release clause which becomes active at season's end due to playing under agreed minutes threshold. Doesn't really parse with what that Saudi (sports?) Minister was saying recently - that if we get CL we'll be doing everything to make sure we never finish below that level again.
Also, got to say it, your previous list of targets you expected from a couple of days ago would, when you factor in a likely signing fee for Marcus Thuram, probably add up to around £150million - £190million

Ferguson is going nowhere,he just signed an extension to stay with Brighton till 2028,levelheaded imho.
Probably be the signing of the summer if we can pull it off.
Not sure how reliable this source is but Maddison would be an unreal signing. Performing in a side that isn't firing (for whatever reason) really does showcase how good he is. He won't be short of offers and without CL football, I don't think he will come. Then again, Isak came and he has a much higher profile.

We’ve also added about £20m with the new shirt sponsor and £10m from Amazon.
They may add a bit more due to CL qualification IF we get it.

It all depends on FFP and any outgoings we have. We need to get the commercial side up and running properly, and we are getting there, before we have 200M transfer windows. I suspect we have about 100-120M if we qualify for the CL. We do transfers differently now, insofar as we don't pay the full amount upfront, which helps. We will still have a great window regardless

This almost reminds me of the time that for some reason Chelsea couldn't make any big signings one of the summers Abramovich was there, and they had to resort to getting Steve Sidewall on a free.
