Obviously one of the newbie glory boys who latched on after the title win ... so no loss tbf ... There are a lot of disgruntled fans mind ... been a lot of 'mismanagement' ... contracts of senior players being allowed to run down and some baffling team selections by Rodgers plus the transfer debacle in the summer ... ... but the biggest thing is heart, passion and desire ... been too many players lacking it. Personally, I'd have Jonny Evans as the first name on the teamsheet for the remaining fixtures... only recently back in full training but he leads by example as well as being a great defensive organiser... and we are all over the place defensively right now ... ... just feel anything we do now is too little, too late ... but whilst it's still possible...
Agree with this if it takes 2 men 4 minutes to draw a line that shows someone's big toe is 5mm off side then it's not off side. The rule was meant to stop a player gaining "unfair advantage". Having a bigger foot, longer leg or just being faster to react is not an unfair advantage. It pisses me off greatly when coward sides run away from defending a free kick and get off side given against the team running in to try and score a goal, to me that is an unfair advantage because everyone knows where the ball is going but by running away from it instead of trying to defend they claim an off side. Big Sam came up with this tactic for Bolton and it's now common but should be ignored and the attacking team allowed to play on. You either defend the play or stand the chance of losing a goal, without that the free kick is worthless.
Still too early to give up, you're literally 1 win away and none of the teams around are consistent enough. Think your owners were hit really bad during Covid but they've also been hawking the club around the middle east and far east for a few years now. Suggests they've closed the purse strings and just want a new buyer ASAP and refusing to sanction any further spending. The lack of spending however would suggest to me that someone somewhere is also way, way down the road of due diligence.
Oi fook off, I've never minded Tierney, either I'm mental or you're just a deluded Spurs supporter, some might say it's a case of both.
I'm guessing Fosse is well into a bottle of red by now, looking at todays results, on his way to opening a second.
... been a bit like a bad dream of late ... stunning 'goal' by Tielemans against Leeds ruled out then concede a soft one ... yes we get an equaliser but really should have taken all 3 points ... ... then you come back from a goal down against Everton and get a pen that could send you in winning 3-1 at half-time, and likely on the way to all 3 points ... so Maddison puts it in the only place that Pickford's miniscule short arms can easily reach ... Defining moments ... missed opportunities that would likely have meant staying up ... but now we are up a creek that this corrupt Tory government is allowing their big business cronies to dump untreated sewerage in... and Brenda has ****ed off with the paddles
