Tierney, Taylor and Coote by far the worse 3. The first 2 just walk around with smug look on their face like they’re untouchable and stuff

Think about whT you've just highlighted.

    When trent is forward.

All the bad habits on show.

If you are quasi 6 then stand in and make play, don't go chasing the game.

You need to get it out your head that’s he’s a 6… what ever that is. He’s not the defensive midfielder. He’s pulled inside to make the extra man and dictate the play from the middle of the pitch and get forward to support and create chances.
fabinho is the ‘6’ if you want to call it that, or the defensive midfielder as most would say.

I’ve just seen the tackle on Diaz. That’s a red card every day of the week and twice on a Sunday. We’ve seen players get sent off for follow through when getting the ball in a challenge, Skipp did none of that. Disgraceful foul and even more disgraceful from the ref and VAR

Commentators after the game all said Jota should have been sent off. It was a high boot and caused an injury. But Skipp could have broken Diaz leg with that tackle. Ah but says Robbie Keane, he didn’t put his full weight behind it. He @@@@ing did. Holberg on Elliot was nasty and dangerous, out of control and only avoided serious injury because he did not catch him full on. If he did, it was a serious injury.

Perfect example of a ref not being in control of a game imho

The ref was very poor for both sides but I think they had it worse than us, although I didn't see the first thirty minutes so may have missed some poor decisions.

What I did see what two clear red card offences; Holberg lunging two fitted with studs showing on Elliott (didn't even get booked), and Jota kicking their player in the head (got a yellow)

The challenge from Skipp on diaz was a yellow/red borderline. Didn’t even give a foul. Skipp committed a foul about 5 minutes before that which was another clear yellow not given.

The foul on Salah which somehow gave against him.

Then go back to the previous game, sends Robbo off. Doesn’t send Kane off. Doesn’t give Jota a penalty when got smashed in the back because Jota ‘stopped’.

    Guy is just awful referee

Tierney was also the ref that booked robertson for being elbowed by the assistant referee last month.

How this guy is still refereeing our games is incredible.

You can be sure if it was the other way round there'd be forensic lip-readers all over it trying to find something to hang Klopp out to dry over.

the ref is an easy distraction.

the rubbish tippy tippy bad habits thst lead us back to near disaster were in full flow.

spurs are destroyed there and we are "after you, oh now after you. oh no I insist after you"

no shot on target from minute 15 (goal from pen) to minute 95 (jota goal)

we absolutely **** the bed there. let them hit the post 3 times and score 3. never blocked a cos and left son in constantly. crazy.

It was like we felt game was won. 15 minutes we were full pace, all over them. Then we went back to just game management but got complacent. As klopp said, spurs counter even at 3-0 so it almost seemed like the players thought spurs had given up and switched off.

Appreciate they can’t and don’t need to go full pelt for 90 minutes. But if you’re going to go game management mode that early, you make sure you have enough players back to stop any kind of counter.

Once they got 1, the nerves came back into it again.

Elliott was poor, diaz was poor second half. Gakpo didn’t get into game after half time. We were no kind of threat at all.
