Rolling stone...what a tune! The older I get the more I'm appreciating stuff I never used too!
Yes if you are of a certain age, you have several of his albums.
Although I have seen him a few times live... its not so good, as his singing live is nowhere near his 'studio' recordings!
Lots of other artists cover his songs, better than him.
Still he is an amazing song writer.
The songs are so well crafted they are ripe for interpretation , but few covers outshine the originals in my eyes, never seen him live but this is not a bad shot

Never been much of a Dylan fan, but a few weeks ago (10th March) @Montysoptician posted "Posively 4th Street" one the music night thread, and I loved that one. A song @Smug in Boots described as "One of the most beautifully hateful songs ever written", and I can see why.
I've went on to listen to quite a bit more now, some I really like, some not so much.
57 year old, and only just discovering Dylan!!
I'm in the same boat Snaggey! I'm 56 and I'm now into Dylan! Like WTF!
Adele, lightweight? It's funny when fans of lightweights, like Adele, dismiss Dylan as rubbish ...
... without even realising their heroes have recorded cover versions of his songs.
He's having fun and taking the piss in parts of that interviewI watched a YouTube video earlier of Dylan in San Francisco around 64. So good. He was being hoyed random questions...really good watch if anyone fancied googling it.
He’s just on another level to everyone else.
The more you read about him the more you realise how astonishing his talent is.
Another level for sure.
Can't believe I've always known of him but just wrote 60s music off without giving it a chance...
