Nothing wrong with holistic. It’s the other part. I don’t want RA to have any say in anything footballing.

What does "holistic" really mean?

  • It is used to refer to a complete approach to views, and it is where things are taken as a cohesive whole instead of a collection of various entities. In simple terms, holistic really mean taking care of the entire body. It is all about the body, mind, and spirit. To achieve all that, you will need to boost your holistic health.
I am sure the ale house gang were all into this.

This is just something I read on Saintsweb so pinch of salt but apparently we tried to offer Elyounoussi a new contract earlier this season and it’s in the players court, he’s waiting until the end of the season to decide?

Has anyone else heard this?

Would be utterly insane if true.

Another backroom departure: https://theathletic.com/4444684/2023/04/24/southampton-matt-hale-academy/

Southampton academy director Matt Hale will leave at the end of the season.

Hale is currently responsible for players who enter the club between the ages of eight and 23.

His exit — confirmed to staff in an email — will follow a number of figures that have or who will depart the club.

Assistant academy director Edd Vahid left at the start of the season to join the Premier League, while head of academy recruitment Dan Rice is joining Everton.

Not particularly for me. SR obviously want to bring their own people in.

It's a weird one. The whole structure of the club is being replaced pretty much at once. Including the key positions. Everyone will be new come next season.

Usually you'd think there would be overlaps or something between staff to ensure continuity but this clean sweep comes across as concerning to me. Especially when you think that SR haven't exactly had a great track record here with their decision making.

Normally I would say no issue to bring in your own staff. With their track record though I am more nervous we get more Jones types. That would certainly be a detriment to the academy for example.

If we were good I’d be concerned.

But after the last couple of years I’m absolutely fine with everyone leaving. Everyone involved in this steaming pile of **** club needs to be sacked and replaced with competence.

Problem is, as someone already said, will we replace them with yet more duds
