That's a very fair point, but what I've seen of Seri he tends to play in front of the back 3/4 and is not that effective going forward. On the full backs I think that Elder is decent as a wing back, more effective than Coyle. You can't knock Coyle for his get up and go and ability to put in a shift, game in game out, but championship level, I'm not so sure. Christie could play right midfield, if they went 3-5-2

I was only thinking earlier today that Rosie might get the tin tack for not making the play-offs.

Seems a lot have made up their mind because a side whose attack is constantly hit with injuries can't put out consistent performances. Pretty pathetic and disappointing.

For years Watford and big 6 clubs were mocked for pulling the trigger with regularity and now here people are craving the same.

You pretty much wrote of allahyar yesterday in one of your posts claiming you'd had your doubts for months. He's had a bad injury followed by another injury and no real run in the team...... What's the difference between your view on that player and other people's view on Rosie? Aree you just being pretty pathetic and disappointing? Or is that just for people who don't see things the same way you do?

For what it's worth, Im not convinced with allahyar either.

Maybe if Elder, Fleming or ano LB, proper LB's, were playing we might have had half a dozen or more examples like that instead of just that one? And maybe at least one would have led to a goal. He's not a LB, it shows, and imo shouldn't be playing there ahead of Elder or Fleming.
Edit: and if I remember correctly (I haven't double checked the highlights), Greaves anyway either misplaced the pass or else he picked out the wrong option as there was another player (might have been Tufan) stood free & waiting a couple of yards in front of Jones in a better position (it looked at the time like it was the former to me).

Comparing the two is nonsensical. Ally has been here for coming up to 18 months. He was not injured at all last season. Rosenior has been here for five months. Thankfully managers don't miss games with injuries.

People are writing off Ebiowei and he's been here three months and I'm not calling them daft either, perhaps because players are quite rightly measured in a different way to managers?

If you want to compare Rosie to a player anyway I'd say he's a Tetteh. Has come in, played a role, looked promising and improved us from what we had before, but we haven't yet seen him when given a proper run without injuries. Are people writing Tetteh off or are they excited to see what he could do with no injuries next season?

Some of the comments on here are mental.

Rosey has come in as our fourth manager in 9 months he's steadied the ship and made hard to beat.

He has a blueprint on how he'd like to play.

If we had a little bit more quality upfront then the home draws against Sunderland, Blackpool, Preston and Rotherham we win.

Another 8 points would put us 9th and 5 points of the play offs.

Not to mention Huddersfield too, so make that 3 points off the play offs.

I'm not comparing Rosie to a player at all, I'm comparing you calling people pathetic and disappointing because they have a view of a manger based on what they've seen from him so far but you being ok to do the same about a player as just hypocritical and funny. Maybe they have just seen enough to form their own opinion. Just as you've made yours on Ally

Do you think a decent striker would have scored a bag full for us, I don’t think we’ve created enough for a decent striker

You're suggesting that forming opinions on players takes as long as it does for managers, and that different circumstances should contribute to forming those opinions. It was a daft comment.

If people have seriously formed an opinion on Rosenior that he doesn't have what it takes on the evidence we've seen then they have no clue.

but I’ve told him – and the chairman as well – now is the time to take risks so that the team can improve.

    that was end of January

so the management can see what most of us can see
And since then we’ve got worse

I think if we get a good thumping off someone he’ll be gone
Players win you games and players get you the sack

When I say quality up front I mean in the wide positions as well. That would help create chances.

I don't think you can sack your way to success and am yet to write Rosenior or any of the intermittently available players off either.

That said, we do seem to have stalled in terms of improvement, and should Rosenior carry the can for last summers recruitment and injuries to existing players also?

He has improved us since coming in. I'd be inclined to give him time to make that next step and see where we are when he's had a summer to put his stamp on the squad.

Chazz since that comment we beat QPR 3-0, Cardiff 1-0, and took it to Norwich after taking the lead early before being overwhelmed by a better side (almost as if we.. took the handbrake off). Connolly got injured during that period and we chopped and changed the attack again. Tetteh then got injured a few games later. Despite that we still beat WBA in that time and drew with a team that was flying in Coventry.

What exactly has Rosenior done wrong in that patch? Things have tailed off recently with Oscar also out of the side along with Tetteh and Connolly - probably our first choice front three - but how is that Rosenior's fault?

If Acun is sacking anyone it's the medical staff.

They've formed an opinion because they told him to go for it and win games which he then did? Yeah how crazy eh Geo.

You're seriously wanting our owner to sack a third manager in 15 months? Utterly mental.

And it would have been if not for injuries, surely you can see that. Or do you honestly think that Longman is as good as Oscar as a striker?
