What I would say is when we have the ball, when we're patient in our play, the other team can't score.

"Now if we score today which we should've done, if we win 2-0 which we should've done, which is on everyone, on the players, on me as well, everyone goes home happy.

"The same at Reading, the same in the way that we played there. So please stick with us, please keep believing in what we're doing because even though the results aren't showing it, the data, the analytics, the performances are.

"When you are consistent in your process, in the end you get the results you want."

    WTF

And possession stats. But didn't Burnley once beat Liverpool with about 18% possession?

The data here shows Villa did not have much of the ball and only 2 shots on target, and far less corners.. What was the score? Did Chelsea have better xGs figures?

Rosie can say the data shows this that and the other but we drew 0-0 with Rotherham at home, we had 1 shot on target. That’s happened too many times

the only analytics that matter from Saturday are goals for 0, goals against 0 - anything else is just noise

It's a strange comment to make publicly tbf! I can completely understand that being a in-house discussion. But to expect fans to accept draws & or losses because certain stats look good is clutching a straws.

I'd take 1% possession and a win all day long

With a last minute own goal from a misplaced back pass…

Sacking Rosie now would be far too soon, although I wouldn't be overly surprised.

Look at what he's managed to do with a consistent defence. He's tightened us up and we're looking very difficult to beat.

Sadly, his attacking play hasn't matched up. But how many games in a row has he managed to play a decent attacking line up?

He gets Tetteh back, suspended then injured. Connolly looks good, then he's injured. Malcolm isn't quite working yet. Pelkas is in and out. Allahyar shows potential but then looks poor for the first half on Saturday. Traore is only just back. Longman's confidence is shot because of a variety of things and some pre-dating Rosie. Even Oscar was out on Saturday.

Its no wonder that our attack hasn't been reliable, the players aren't getting used to each other and we're just papering over the cracks. Some of the above is a problem Rosie has created, but only a small amount of it. He can only work with what he has each week.

Maybe he could be braver (like playing Tufan upfront Saturday as our most likely goal outlet), but at the same time you've got to ask - who would have done better? It might come, it might not but has he really had the right attacking tools at his disposal?

I know this is a flippant comment, but if Rosenior was that good at Derby, why didn't Derby make him there permanent manager instead of looking elsewhere?

Lets just sack the manager every 6 months if they’re not in the top 3.

It's always easy to say things like this but look at the highlights. The Jones chance comes from Greaves, playing at left back, exchanging passes with Seri and running almost to their 6-yard box before pulling it back to Jones. So it isn't as simple as us not having an attacking, overlapping left back, because we did on that big chance, and if Jones keeps it down we're all on here saying what a beautiful bit of play that was with Greaves overlapping.

It's so tedious how people deliberately misunderstand/ignore what's actually being said whenever anyone mentions stats.

In the quote he literally ends it by saying when you perform well you eventually get the results. But because he's dared to mention stats people are queueing up to say oooh stats don't matter, it's results that count. FFS he addressed that directly. His whole point is that he's saying we'll get results in time if we keep performing well.

I posted on here when he was appointed, the players had no respect for him. He talks too much.

I'm yet to see Middlesborough advertise their 'Evening with Michael Carrick' which I guess is because he is busy doing his job.

Unless it’s one shot on target, that one counts.

The jury is out for me on Longman mainly because he is in and out of the team too often , his touch will suffer under pressure but because our attack is poor any mistake he makes is pounced on . If he improves his ability to control a pass and be stronger he’ll be ok on the left he’s a reasonable winger albeit I’d like a faster one. I know I pick up on little things but they make a player better - I think training must be too collective and not player weakness focused - probably only applies to younger ones - you’d hope they wouldn’t sign many with obvious weaknesses!
