I have a memory, which may be incorrect given my age, that Billy clattered into a keeper (could have been v Bradford) after about 15 mins. Keeper goes off injured, Billy doesn’t get booked, outfield player goes in goal cos no sub keepers then …. We lose 1 0

I remember that! I honestly thought Billy had killed him - he was out cold.

I too remember that, I'm sure we didn't have a shot on target after their keeper was subbed.

Yep, I was there, along with what seemed well over a 1000 Sheff Utd fans in the home end. Bastards.
Was on Tiger Travel and remember rivers of piss on the coach cos someone had a slash into a bottle and then just let it fall over. That was on the way there !!!!

The coach was the opposite of TT though!

I'll see you that and raise you Tranmere at home in 2004. They had 2 keepers injured in the first half and Ian Goodison went in goal for them. Complete carnage after that 6-1 anything on target went in.

Was in town with a couple of mates from down south and we had a great night on the lash afterwards.
