THE COMMON MARKET was the starting point, it was designed to stop a multitude of things ... basically a levelling up!
It evolved into the EU, and a lot of the early rules regulation and collectives became "outdated" as more members joined they were supposed to be "financially and economically sound" and have a fair open governance with people having basic rights .... it was never really "today we are the common market and tomorrow we start off as THE EU:" it evolved as such.
When what you originally signed up for becomes untenable, like being dictated to about how you make /pass/ have cast upon you rules and laws and the possibility of being taken over by an unelected federalism then time to UKIP it!

The saddest thing was Covid .. FOR THE WHOLE WORLD, and those that lost their lives and the economies it destroyed ... step back to December 2019 and press restart and simply remove COVID where and what then ... we would have more NHS workers, hospitals... more emergency services .. UK .GOV COFFERS would be in the black. Boris would be in charge [ try and remove from your minds those that cant his demeanours of covid because under the restart it is not there ]

.. yes we would likely still have Putrid to deal with .. but I reckon without Covid ... the money available for help would have been at least 25- 50% more

I see the equally vile Humzah Yousaf has thrown his hat into the ring to run to be First Minister of Scotland
Previous antics include playing the race card at every opportunity, including against people from other ethnic minorities which backfired in spectacular fashion and being instrumental in getting your family and friends to rat on you if you use racist or improper terms in your own house
    Sturgeon MKII in other words
Where do they find these people ??!!!

Having family up there, and opinions split they would ask the same Q's...... thing is go 25 miles north of Glasgow... same from Perth ... and 5 miles in from Dundee and Aberdeen and the attitudes are vastly different ... They just want to get on with things and appreciate they are neglected by the 4 major conurbanizations .... you get fish and chip shops, occassionally a pizza shop .. but fewer curry / cinese / Fried chicken establishments....

not anymore, funny thing is though I do miss some of the journeys and hectic periods! it was really hectic from 2000 to 2015 / 2016 then I started to ease off a bit [ airline that took us to Luxembourg/ Schipol / Brussels / etc went down the tube and just operated to mainland europe so Filton base was abandoned [ 2 of the big hangars used to be their HQ with 747 repair centre and service of private smaller craft etc ] Some days I wish the phone ring! but I stopped when Covid struck, and didnt have the inclination to restart... had hoped to make 4 million miles .. but since I crossed 3,400,000 it has slowed [ think without looking is about 3.46??
