Be very disappointing if we don't take 3 points here. Grown into game and dominated.
Scrappy disjointed but ahead , should improve if recent form is maintained, we have the subs, Clarke has been poor again , and Roberts starts very slowly but has produced the moment of the game so far. O/9 has been a Rock .

Good first half. Conceded more possession than usual, but had all the best chances and breakaways. We'll get more chances second half on the counter as QPR have to try and take the game to us.
It looks to me like neither ONien or Pritch are going in close to the centre halves to offer for the ball. We therefore dont have that control of the game you get from that role.
That said we still have a threat, mostly down the right tonight. Pritchard when he is high makes a big difference.
Gelhardt has to relax a bit and play his game. There was a passage where he pressed and pressed and won a free kick of the full back. He gave a fist pump. That sort of play is every bit as important from him in this team as him getting a goal.

He looks like he has played at this level for years and years.

Don't think we started well but defo got control of the game. There is more goals available for both teams. Defo need a second. Keep the ball tidy and we will do well.
To be fair it's more thinking every little thing is a foul against their players.
The main commentator said are we unlucky to be going in a goal down, to which the co-commentator basically said for all the early possession we didn't make the keeper make a save and Sunderland have had all the actual chances!

So, three questions.
1) Did Mowbray get our shape all wrong.
2) How much are we missing a striker.
3) Did we really score from a corner.
