I'm pretty confident Speakman and all at the club will agree with that. But isn't it refreshing that we won't just sign someone cause they are available? It's the reason our team spirit is ****ing fantastic.wesign players with tbe same spirit and determination only. No more Rodwells!
These lads are absolutely loving playing here. They all enjoy playing in the same team as each other, but they're getting a taste of being adored by our fans. Most of them will go onto better things (either with us or not) but very few will enjoy their football in the same way as they are right now.
The sea change in this club and it's recruitment is astonishing. It's not that long ago we were scouring the free markets for such nuggets as Tommy Smith, Kyle Lafferty, Calum McFuckingFadzean and throwing all our eggs in the Aiden McGeady basket It amazes me to think that McGeady (and no offence to him, he was brilliant for us) was on the bench in the play off final. Seems Mr Ferrell is desperate to make a fool of himself twice ... ... once for his witless pre-match comments and again for failing to understand what 'mocking' actually is. No one felt mocked by an American unable to appreciate British banter, it was pathetic and you can't mock someone for something that hasn't happened.
