That's it. During the war, he had been invited to a service at a chapel in London by his friend Ivan Cobbold (founder of Ipswich town), but turned down the invitation because he was due to speak to a Rotary Club meeting. The chapel was bombed and his friend was killed – he would have been sitting next to him at the time. He never turned down an invitation to speak to a Rotary Club meeting again.

It was taken by Hannah Mackay, and included in a portfolio in which she won Press photographer of the Year. Or something like that.
 
She was the first woman to report a football match for BBC's Sports Report. (Not the first female sports reporter - or the first female designated football reporter)
