Now that the January window is closed, how do you rate Victor Orta's work as DoF?

IN
Weston McKennie - Juventus
Georginio Rutter - Hoffenheim
Diogo Monteiro - Servette
Wober - Salzburg

OUT
Diego LLorente - AS Roma
Coday Drameh - Luton
Joffy Gelhardt - Sunderland

VULTURES
Kept Harrison after Leicester bid, fought off competition for McKennie

Personally, I feel it has been an excellent window, better than expected ... the club have made really good moves to continue building for the future ... these are not Marsch signings, these are Leeds signings ... the club are developing a talented squad that any manager coming in can work with ... remember this, every signing has been scouted by Orta for at least 18 months, there are no rushed signings to please the manager

Clinton Morrison on Sky Sports rates the McKennie signing as the best of all in this window, citing his partnership with Tyler Adams as key to improving Leeds ... remember, these to are lifelong friends since school days

The lads coming in are all young and quality ... fantastic!

Lllorente to Roma is a genius transfer, well done!

Letting Joffy and Drameh go out on loan to Championship clubs fighting for promotion is superb business ... Drameh has already made a splash at Luton on his debut, rave reviews came in following their 1-0 win that pushes them up to fourth in Championship

Joffy goes straight into the cauldron at Roker Park where the fanatical Mackems will be driving him on ... he gets to play with a flourishing Jack Clarke, and with Sunderland's main striker being ruled out for the rest of the season, Joffy should be getting plenty of game time ... Tony Mowbray also has massive respect for the Leeds Academy, rates the youngsters coming from there as having a solid grounding and well coached

For me, considering how notoriously tough the January market is, I rate this window 9/10 ... Marsch can have no excuses now, time to win games and push up the table

Billy you missed Wober off the list of players in.

No complaints regarding this window from me, surprised we went for Rutter over a top LB and maybe another CB. That’s the decision Jesse has made and path he has taken.

Considering our league position and the fact I thought we were broke, this has to be a 8/10 window. Deduct a point for no LB and it would have been nice to sell or move on Forshaw and James.

Wober seems a bargain, McKennie it’s a miracle in pulling that one off, Rutter an exciting gamble, it’s been a good one

Very pleased with incomings. Makes a difference when you’ve a coach who has worked with or knows most of the signings in the past and is happy to add to the squad. Looking at forest and Bournemouth for example you can’t stand still in this league. Just look at Everton’s inactivity for example. They were probably relegated last night

If you include Wober 9/10 from me and almost pulled of Nicolo Zaniolo too but left it too late. That one may happen in the summer

With all the attacking talent we now have it could be an exiting end to the season with our fragile defence meaning goals a plenty per game!.....unless wober can stamp a bit of organisation into the back line then maybe we can keep it down to only needing a couple of goals to win instead of a hatful <yikes>.......a 7.5 from me :)

Arent we lucky that not every fan blindly supports inactivity of board for two seasons. They should be grateful <ok>
Personally, I feel incredibly lucky that our Board have done things properly and waited to bring in the right players when needed rather than spunking millions on mediocrity over a couple of years just because a few fans are of a hysterical nature <diva><whistle>

And I feel very lucky that the Gods looked after us on last day of last season. The word festered lucky springs to mind despite the board leaving us with such a threadbare squad. But at least they've listened to the fans who were willing to speak out <ok>

You tell yourself that and write yourself into the club's history. I rather suspect the reality is, money has been spent to protect the investment not because of a bit of noise :emoticon-0148-yes:
