Was on the cards well be before that as you well know it must've been, but I accept it wasn't widely reported as a banker til Baz reported it.
He didn't just "Fly in to complete the deal " as was dramatically reported.
If he's actually arrived in person this evening then the deal was done days ago.

Have either of the 2 wingers been confirmed by the club yet ? I know other journalists have suggested done deals but haven't seen anything from us confirming this
Ebiowe was confirmed last week with the proviso he'd start training this week.
Konrad and Simons yet to he announced, but Simons is already here on loan anyway so that particular legality can take its time and be formalised in summer if the intent from all sides is there.
Konrad's the confirmation to wait for I guess.
We cannot afford to wait till the summer for Simons, there will be even more clubs sniffing. It needs to be done today.
My understanding is they're sniffing only on loan.
We can offer greater contractual security.

His deal is up in the summer, albeit they've got an option but there are Championship clubs willing to take him to play him regularly now.
