Che has always been awful at 1v1s and any chance where he has loads of time to think. Unfortunately his confidence seems rock bottom at the moment and the parts of his game that almost made up for that are not there at the moment.
He'll find out soon that once Newcastle get a proper window, he'll be gone. Like Stephen Ireland or Michael Johnson and other players that Man City cleared out as soon as they got their wallet properly out. His punishment will be to join one of the career retirement homes that are Everton, West Ham, or Aston Villa (would have once been Newcastle too).

Just watch the pre match warm up sessions. They tell us all that we know already. Haven't seen him score yet in those. A grafter but not a goal scorer it seems. Pity, strikes me as a decent genuine guy.
Touching on the goal Newcastle had disallowed, did anyone else notice that they had 4 players running in on the loose ball, after Bazunu’s parry, whilst we just had Salisu? Tracking runners has to be something else for Jones to improve.
Last night was excellent. Learned new moves in both the tango and the rumba. Didn't watch the footy (saw some highlights) but the comments on here make me think it went OKish. The comments about Alcatraz are the most hopeful I've heard for a while. Was it him who threaded that perfect pass through to Che to put him clear in on goal? Vin
It was sublime. Utter perfection in timing, direction and strength. No wonder Che was able to slot it away so easily. Vin
DCC is banned for the game against Blackpool, but available for the second leg against Newcastle. How squeaky is your bum, Jacob?
I just think he was banned in the semi so should be banned in the second leg. If a Newcastle player was sent off, he would have missed the next leg as they have no game in between. Insane maybe a strong word lol. I suppose it is unique in the League Cup Semis as they are over 2 legs.
Massively impressed by Alcarez (who knew that you can use recruitment to improve a team...). Diallo's first half was possibly his best 45 minutes in a Saints shirt. He was my man of the half. But it started to go all wrong for him in the second half, when he found himself doing a lot more passing. Ending up coming nowhere near Alcarez for my man of the match.
Strange, sat with a Palace fan and he said if we play like that we’re staying up. But also there’s a mix on here that think we were **** last night, whilst I thought we played relatively well.
