Think most people would agree that if you use the flare then keep it to yourself, dont let it off in a confined area like a concourse and dont chuck it at cars and/or kids (Also dont let them off when we're 1-0 down that just makes us look tinpot)
It can end up with a civil war which cost 100,000 lives and the break up of a country. Obviously City games are more dangerous.
Loads of fans have been injured by flares, some seriously, games have been abandoned and in at least one a whole stand burned down.
Flares do. If you can point me to source that says not I'll stand corrected. Seems that some smoke bombs burn cool, others don't. I wouldn't like to rely on a football supporter being fastidious enough to seek out the cool variety to take to a match. Either way, if one lands on your head I imagine it might just feel a bit hot, no?
I suspect they seek out the cheap variety. Likely cooler It’s still stupid to throw them, particularly as you’d get banned.
I didn’t say they didn’t. I said they both don’t burn at high temperatures as the original poster said they did - ie one of them does and the other doesn’t. Seems to manage without all these problems in some other countries.
