Was hoping to have read of multiple loan/purchase targets by now![]()
It'll be last minute panic signings. We've had plenty of those as well.Patience needed. Don't want or need any hasty acquisitions. Our history is littered with those.
Absolutely 100% true....
Ok, it was said more in jest than with any seriousness but you couldn't blame him for thinking it.
In saying that, as we came out and saw the Bluebirds going 2-0 up with an excellent goal from Ojo on the TV screens in the concourse area he did again say.... "See, told you we should have gone!"
You've got to admit though Supcon, your lot were dire for the majority of the game.![]()
Read on line this morning he’s still hereGoood news?................

Todd Cantwell for midfield anyone?
Creative player, good engine but that Alice band?
Played on loan at Bournemouth in their promotion team. Not sure he would see our situation as an opportunity. I would take him though.
Todd Cantwell for midfield anyone?
Is he the one we were singing ‘Get your hair cut you scruffy c**t’ at the Norwich game?
Would still have him. Decent player. That's the one.
Knouknou sent back....................

Has it gone under the radar that due to paying the instalment on Sala outside the due 30 days City are now prevented from paying a transfer fee for THREE windows?
So unless there’s a successful appeal we’re limited to loans and free transfers until 2024-5 season.
Still once they discussed whether they were going to pay or not, they must have known the strict time limit and it’s consequences, to then pay after the time limit had passed seems careless.I think I read somewhere that that rule was introduced by the EFL to stop clubs agreeing to high transfer fees to be paid in installments and then deliberately defaulting. Either they couldn't meet their obligations when due or just weren't prepared to for some other reason.
City has fallen into this catch-all rule but the circumstances are vastly different with the Sala case than the original reasons for which the rule was intended - hence the appeal.
We're hearing from Whitehead that a new striker is very close to being signed.
One question - who decided on him whoever he might be?
