I think Jones deserves to be cut some slack on what he says to the media after that performance tonight. I think he has a right to be a bit pissed that a non-league manager said on local radio that he didn't think he was good enough. If he can carry on getting performances like that out of the players quite frankly he can say what he likes!
No let his and the team performances speak. The **** he said tonight is just inflammatory to his situation. Does he not get it. When you have the upper hand do it with gracr

So much nicer watching the team with clear plans and tactics. Every player looked energised and knew exactly what their individual jobs were tonight. Fair play to NJ and the players. Also can’t blame him for having a dig back, hopefully we’ll continue playing with a plan and he doesn’t try to over complicate things going forward, and the negative interviews will be a thing of the past. If we play with this passion and energy I for one will gladly hold my hands up for criticising NJ probably and hopefully, to early
Why have a dig back, when everyone is saying well done mate- just so stupid

I mean, he's not wrong. The Havant manager knows **** all about whether Jones is good enough. And Saints fans have been way too quick to judge him and call for the sack.

Yes I think he should probably be a little more diplomatic and that media training could help - but he is right to feel how he does.

My concern is that he's hearing too much of the **** being talked about him. Be healthier to turn the internet off and stay away from the papers. He shouldn't know what the Havant manager said let alone give it a second thought.

Oh give it a rest please. Is there any need when we've just beaten Man City?
Was there any need for his comments. He could and just should have said. Got together, trained really hard, worked on Man City defence and came up with a game plan to win. My Ayers were magnificent in executing that plan.

No instead we have all this Jesus bollocks. The guy has a great result and should applaud the team but the two things that come across is that he is a victim and Jesus win the game, for ****s sake and the

Hmm it was all over BBC so inevitably it gets back to him. Plus I think the boos and chants have made it pretty clear what some fans think of him.

If Charly Alcarez scores against Everton and thanked god in an interview, a large majority of South American players do so, you wouldn't be saying that at all.

You have just decided you don't like NJ so now find a problem where there isn't one. I get some of what he said showed his frustration with impatient fans and that wasn't ideal, but why does it matter if he wants to thank or mention Jesus? Such a weird thing to be annoyed at.

You can see how if you’re a successful side he could become a bit of a cult hero, they way he talks in interviews and press conferences . I can see why Luton favs liked him so much

The Radio Solent interview was awkward listening. Jones clearly knows Blackmore hadn’t been complimentary about him and without directly calling him out on it did keep subtly referring to it.

No
I am annoyed at he has had quite a run at getting a game plan together. It has been particularly disjointed with zero effectiveness. It has been a frustrating time for all of Sai TS fans.

He has and the team have just had an incredible win. Enjoy it and celebrate it without trying to score points over the fan base ( you will never win - very naive for a 51 year old man with aot of experience)

Yeah i agree that he shouldnt have revealed his frustrations with fans/media how he did. My comments was in reference to you being annoyed at him talking about Jesus, hust thought it was strange to be annoyed by that.

He can talk about whichever diety he wants, hell if he can have a new one each week, if he wins us games!
