I tuned in to the c4 show primarily for Bird and Fortune. They were better than Bremner.

Honestly think they're 2 of the greatest satirists of my time.
I agree, they always did a brilliant job, and complemented each other perfectly.
Such a simple premise, that segment. Always the straight laced bbc/c4/Times style interviewer. Always the send up of some establishment figure in the chair and they so rarely cracked it had you in fits when they did and you could see them desperately trying to stay in role.

Pele, one of the greatest footballers of all time, has died at the age of 82. The Brazilian had been having treatment in hospital since November 29 for worsening colon cancer as well as heart and kidney problems. He revealed he was battling cancer in September 2021.
