Stupid foreigners getting in the way. They ruin everything.
86 doesn't count. They had to cheat to beat us in the quarters. That one's null and void.
90 doesn't count. Cameroon beat them and England beat Cameroon so we won that World Cup because we were better than West Germany in the semi.
We would have won it in 70 but they took Bobby Charlton off. We were just as good as the Brazil side. Jeff Astle let us down.

Morally we are on about 4 or 5 world cup wins. Especially '90 when we won the fair play award.
Meanwhile the Wales, Scotland, NIR and those **** English players that turn out for Eire have to be content watching on the telly.
It was nice to see England's fourth team compete this year under the guise of Wales.
Do you recall the talk in the 70’s And 80’s about how great it would be to have a uk or British lions team. All the great Leeds players of the 70’s that played for Scotland and Ireland… then later we could have utilised Hansen, lawrenson, souness, rush, dalglish, Brady, southall, Hughes, Keane maybe. The days when our dear island-sharing friends still produced quality footballers.
Oh sorry I forgot about the bun headed golfer the Welsh had recently.
Or put another way. England have an infinite x more than Scotland, Ireland, wales and NI added together.
Perhaps the way to look at it is… you’re either a World Cup winner or you’re not. A member of an exclusive club.. or not.
We scored more goals against Iran than Wales have in their history at the World Cup.
