Where it began, I can't begin to know when, but then I know it's growing strong... So what do we do now, as we can't complain?
If we can beat France then I think we've genuinely got an excellent chance. There's no doubting we've been one of the strongest sides so far. Pretty big if though with Mbappe on the pitch as I still don't rate CB's. Don't fear them outside of him all that much imo.
Citizen Band (Radio)? Centre Backs? Let's face it, England are actually more than half decent, not to say good. We can win this!!!! Probably.
Has there ever existed a more mature, composed, and articulate 19 year old than Jude Victor William Bellingham?
And then went on to say he'd be the best midfielder in the world lol. He's probably right on that tbf though. He looks as baffled as everyone else by how good he is.
Just read that Sterling flew back to the UK as his house was burgled. Rotten thing to have to go through. Second time for him?
It's a real shame that England v France is a QF. You could make a case for it being final worthy. There's been some right classic QFs in the past. Hopefully this will be another. (Alternatively, I'd happily take the most boring 1-0 win ever!)
I wondered if it would be that. Some people are just scum. I don’t know his family situation, and hope none of them were in the house at the time, but this targeting of young players houses when they’re away at tournaments is grim.
If England are to win it they will have to do it the hard way. After the QF v France the likely route would be*, SF: Spain (or Portugal) and Final: Brazil (or Argentina). Arguably, the most impressive looking teams in the competition so far. Nobody will be wanting to play England either though as you can say the same about us. *If all the games go as you’d expect which obviously isn’t a given.
