Pardew mentioned Best afterwards when he was talking about the players they'd lost to injury (along with Cabaye and Tiote). Might've just been precautionary.
 
Only just read that Blackburn fans got around the banner ban by hiring a ****ing aeroplane to fly one over the stadium <laugh><laugh><laugh>!
 
Cabaye's injury isnt too bad, he's going to France with the team but Pardew says he probably wont play for them.



I like how now that we've played everyone, the test will be when we get injuries to our tiny squad. Williamson, Shola, Marveaux, Best, Cabaye, Tiote, Obertan were all out by the end of the game and we still won. I suppose when Man U/City beat us that will prove we've been **** all along eh?
