I don't understand how Wales failed to win with Gareth Bale in their side. His stats for his 45 minutes were:
Touches - 7
Total Passes Attempted - 4
Passes Completed - 1
Chances Created - 0
Shots - 0

Because he’s a leader on the pitch.

People are so eager to find issues with England selections. We have a lot of good players. Henderson as you say is a leader, someone who's been there and done it at all levels and whilst he's not as exciting as some of the younger lads, he can certainly do some things better than most of them. It's great that we have such an array of different options. We really should try to appreciate this successful and talented generation of players rather than looking for faults all the time.

Last few years supporting England and City have really made me wonder whether most fans actually support their team or love football at all.

Just seem to pay the money (or not in most cases) for an excuse to slag them off if there isn't instant gratification. Case in point being the USA game.

We're all guilty of venting frustration, I get that - it's an emotional game but some seem to be in it more to criticise and undermine than actually support.
