Legally? But you've already ok'd the Albanian drugs trade here. How does that work? You are No Borders, Watford. Have the honesty to admit it.
I’ve not ok’d it. I’ve questioned how major an issue it is rather than allowing it to be blown out of all proportion by bitter old right-wing ****s.
More abuse. You're a compete fake, pal. You'd let anyone in, with the possible exception of Republican supporters entering legally from the US. Your position is the most extreme position anyone can take on immigration, and while you're entitled to your view, it's a waste of debating with you. You use the veneer of abuse to obscure what you are - a fanatic.
The majority of them yes. They’re crossing illegally because we make it so intentionally unviable to cross legally while pretending to care for their welfare.
You use the veneer of caring about crime from a tiny minority of immigrants to obscure your blatant xenophobia.
I'm sure people landing on our shores claiming asylum is in the top 5 issues to the public of the UK. Cost of living is by far at the top of the list. We don't have the infrastructure in place, that's the fault of past and present governments. Did we have all these boat crossings before we left the EU? Genuine question that as I'm not aware of stats on this. As it stands, the current situation has to be blamed on the current government. Take the Albanians for example. Is there a reason why they can't be sent back to Albania? Why are we not processing more, quicker? Personally asylum seekers landing on our shores is not an issue high up in my concerns.
We probably didn’t get the crossings Bob, I’m guessing because once accepted in an EU country for citizenship they had the right to come here. Thats just my guess
That was my thinking too. Am I correct in thinking that we always had the right to send someone back after 3 months if they hadn't shown to be paying their way or settling into society? Or something like that anyway.
The majority are not genuine asylum seekers now though. 60% are Albanian. Why aren't they sent straight back? Partly Home Office ineptitude and partly because the illegals destroy their ID documents before landing in the UK, and proving who they are, liaising with the Albanian govt etc, is extremely time-consuming
If they've all destroyed their documents and the Home Office is so woefully behind with processing, how do you know how many currently crossing in small boats are Albanian?
