I think it's fair to see we've handled the change of manager better than Wolves. I know they got their man in the end but that turned into a farce.

Underwhelmed, but willing to give him a chance. He's going to have to hit the ground running in the new year or I feel the fans will turn quickly.

Now, wheres that damn poll :bandit:

A lot of his family are Saints fans?
Apparently. He's going to be really hungry to succeed here. There are no guarantees (if you want one, buy a washing machine :emoticon-0106-cryin) but this could be a really shrewd appointment which may go under the radar as Wolves and Villa have appointed big names.

Pretty clear from the video that for once Saints have had a plan. This video wasn’t made overnight and probably not this week considering the weather we’ve had in the south. Let’s hope it augers well for a new era! COYS

Initially when I heard the rumours a bit shocked and unimpressed. Upon reflection (some should try this rather than spouting off immediately knee jerk), this isn't so bad. In fact it could turn out to be the turning point for SFC under SR. In a good way.

The guys that paid for us wanted him, so I am 100% behind him. Three points are almost a certainty on Saturday now and I can see us finishing in the Champions League places this year.

Yep guys, that is called positivity and optimism.

I read that the main reason it took longer than expected for Lopetegui to become Wolves manager was because his dad became very ill during the negotiations and he needed more tome to think whether he wanted to go back into management.
