yes all the areas that it appears Rosenoir will focus on will indeed take time. And dont get me wrong I really like this forward thinking appointment but its unfortunate at the moment as far as the league table is cocerned we are sat on a tiny heap of three. And Rosie needs to quickly get us off that heap and up the table all long before any of these off the field methods start to pan out. Its a tall order given our poor recent performances at home but its not a moutain that has to be climbed since if we had 3 more points we would be in the 14th position. Some on here will be concerned about his philosopy about playing out from the back, well as he said the players will have to be brave, given that, we will have to be similarly disposed and just expect a few mistakes.
"I'm really excited. It's a club that I love. There are a lot of friendly faces at the training ground. I'm excited to get going and get this club where it was when I was playing." "I’m really confident we can be successful. I’m really excited for the future. We’ve got a really passionate owner who wants the best for the football club." "Every job is a challenge. Having a challenge is a great thing. It makes the success even better. My job in the short-term is to tip the balance in our favour. I’m really looking forward to it." "This is a really talented group of players. We went through a few things this morning (in training). We’ve definitely got the ingredients here for success." "You learn about yourself as you go. I had the most wonderful experience working with Wayne Rooney at Derby County in the most difficult circumstances. I’m driven and I’ll demand high standards."
Friend of mine is an agent for a player at Derby. Apparently he is an unreal coach but not a strong leader. Big worry for me with people like Tufan around the place. Let us hope he finds a way to get them playing, fast!
Tan Kesler "We want to play entertaining football. We want to give the fans reasons to be here and be proud of their club. Liam stood out because of the way he wants to play." "Liam’s experience in English football wasn’t the deciding factor. It was just another box being ticked off. We’re opening a new page with Liam. We trust him and will support him 100%."
I thought he spoke very well and with confidence. That’s got to be a positive. Good luck Rosie, great to have you back.
We are only making a few mistakes at the back currently, it might seem like more but they stick in your mind. For most of the Boro game Figgy looked comfortable with the ball but we remember the bad stuff such as turning himself into trouble and having top panic pass across his own goal. At this level if you make a 'few' mistakes you get beat, as we are finding out. Rosenior has no time and the players have no comfort zone, it is as serious as that.
So when we will see "Liam Out" thread? Jokes aside, I hope this works, a bit suprising after high-profile managers.
Of course we have time. He has the whole of this season now to ensure we don't get relegated and we show signs of improvement. Given where we are now, I think that's the most anyone will expect from him, including the owners. And in terms of avoiding relegation, it's not like we're 6 points adrift and into the last 10 games of the season.
Moreover it is only 9 points to promotions spot, 7-8 wins in next 10 games and promotion will be the next target.
