Why don't we play Alfie Jones as defensive midfielder he should replace Toufan ? He has played there before and looked useful. McLoughlin should be playing in place of Greaves at the moment as Greaves needs a few games out of the side to restore his confidence. Like others not sure why we are playing Doc and Slater as wingers when we have Sinik and Longman on the bench it makes no sense.
Wednesday is usually day off. Shota was usually to be found sat outside at Carluccios. Wonder if I'll see Rosie there?
gerem one of those automatic ball launchers and defend crosses 12 hours a day i say can have some of the injured lads feed the ball into it, feel involved, good for chemistry innit please log in to view this image
Yep. I was one of those thinking he could be the answer, at least short to mid term ..... but he clearly wasn't. I fear we dont have ' the answer', even short term, within our current squad. I just hope Rosie sees solutions that others haven't so far seen / tried. If not, then roll on January.
People thinking that a change in keeper can change fortunes like last year when it was in fact the return of a fully fit Honeyman and a change in system which caused last year’s uptick.
People knee jerk ridiculously on here, one minute a player can do no wrong, next he can't do anything right. Greaves was brilliant for us last season, he's obviously going through a dip in form at the moment, but that doesn't suddenly make him a League One player. Let's get Rosie through the door and wait and see if he can't knock the lads into shape.
Don't disagree but no way is he a potential premiership centre back like some were saying. As always hoping to be proved wrong (if he stays with us).
What we need first is a coach to get the back line sorted out. Neither Figs or Greavsey are bad players but it is obviously not thought that they can play well together. I disagree with people who think that Greaves has no potential in the Prem. For me he needs a confident partner to guide him and settle him down a bit. It is alarming too how little headed goals our big lads have contributed. They are so good for team morale. I’ve said it before but the big thing this team lacks is a midfield hard bastard who is a bit of an icon to the others. Heads go down too easily after a side goes in front and that needs addressing in January.
