Again you fail to grasp what the purpose of the Opposition is:
"The role of the Official Opposition is to question and scrutinise the work of the Government"
In a democracy, you can't have all parties chucking policies into the mix, it would become meaningless. The government is there to govern the opposition is there to challenge.
All parties can and do provide alternatives, it's called a manifesto and is produced at election time.
Not being able to provide an alternative means any challenging can easily be dismissed.
Anyone can whinge.
So Labour haven't outlined their economic plans in opposition ...
... haway man, the Tories haven't done that and they're in power
