So Labour haven't outlined their economic plans in opposition ... ... haway man, the Tories haven't done that and they're in power
True, but are we then saying that because the tories are **** it's ok for Labour to be **** as well? Because then we're back to my point about 'I don't care if they're ****, they're wearing the right colour rosette'. Every time a government gets replaced by someone just slightly less poor, the bottom sinks even further.
There is one on the labour party website. Bit flimsy in areas perhaps, but they have published one nevertheless.
Not to mention immigration, and illegal immigration, have both gone up since Brexit ... ... plus the processing procedure has gone to shyte and we've doubled the hotel bill. Etc, etc, etc ....
The Exile obviously missed them or ignored them as it doesn't fit his agenda. Bbc reporting that the Home Sec has breached statutory duties, her time could be up (again).
It doesn't work like that, manifestos are published after the dissolution of Parliament and before the General Election. This parliament has another two years + to run and the issues that are prevalent now may not be when the GE is called
Football match: Home team is having difficulties scoring a goal. So the away team (OPPOSITION) decide to score an own goal to help the home team out
Sorry I was being obtuse mate. What I meant was that policies, plans and proposals are absolutely meaningless ... ... we've just had Johnson, Truss and Sunak forming a circle and stabbing each other in the back over the various guff they've spouted.
To be honest I was referring to the argument it is not the job of the opposition to propose policies. Labour have done so only a few weeks ago.
I know marra, but according to the Exile, the mess we are in is down to labour not having any policies he can scrutinise
Are you sure? I read on here that the Labour Party don't have any policies. I don't think they were policies Fell Top, they were too general. A policy will have costings and dates for completion.
Go on Rishi, hoy another U turn in there, you know you want to..... 'Under review' whether Rishi Sunak will travel to COP27 Whether or not Rishi Sunak will attend COP27 is "under review", Downing Street has confirmed - as the PM faces mounting calls to attend the climate conference in Egypt. Asked if the prime minister would be attending the summit, a Number 10 spokesperson said that "any attendance at COP would depend on progress on preparation for that fiscal event - and that work is ongoing". Last week, Downing Street said the PM would not be attending the conference in Sharm el Sheikh next month as he would be preoccupied with "other pressing domestic commitments, including preparations for the autumn budget". The spokesperson added: "The prime minister fully recognises the importance of the COP summit and is fully committed to addressing climate change." From Sky News
