No but I’d be pretty confident in predicting that we won’t go down if Ralph stays, we won’t do much better than 15th either. We will go on some run for about 5/6 games where we win a few and draw the others which will get us over the line, like basically all the other seasons he’s been here.
I wouldn’t be confident, we will probably lose today and could go on another awful run.

It’s tight at the bottom, I think we could see one of the biggest relegation fights this season.

15th is pretty much exactly where we should be based on the majority of metrics (including transfer spend)

Exactly, it’s so weird people expect us to be any better when everything points to us being exactly where we should be. The PL is an utter **** league for us to be in if you want us to be seriously competing every week

Ralph never fails to keep us guessing does he?
Good grief
I should have known you'd be unhappy. What is the issue with trying something different? 3 CB's makes absolute sense given we have no fit RB apart from an 18 year old who has played 1 senior match against a League One side. I wasn't expecting Che to drop to the bench but I'm willing to see how it plays out.

You say obviously neglected CDM and didn't buy striker. I think attempts were made certainly for a striker and, I think, a CDM. Obviously neglected obviously isn't correct.

If it is a fitness issue with Che then not really much you can do, he worked so hard against Bournemouth I wouldn't be shocked if it was fitness.

As for 3 CBs, there isn't really another option due to injuries.

Because net spend does not automatically equal position in the table, or we could just do away with the football and finalise the league at the end of the transfer window.

A good manager, good coaching, shrewd purchases and strong academy should factor in too.

I don’t know, I guess I’d be happy. We’ve spent quite a bit but have obviously neglected CDM and not bought a striker, so what can you expect?

If we start to play attractive football again and maybe bloody the nose of a big club that would be ok.

But can you say that awful run is behind us and won’t be repeated?

Yes they factor in, but if you look at the final PL table for each of the last 5 years it pretty much is in exact order of spend (wages and transfer fees for the year)
