I wouldn’t be confident, we will probably lose today and could go on another awful run.No but I’d be pretty confident in predicting that we won’t go down if Ralph stays, we won’t do much better than 15th either. We will go on some run for about 5/6 games where we win a few and draw the others which will get us over the line, like basically all the other seasons he’s been here.
Ralph never fails to keep us guessing does he?
Good grief
15th is pretty much exactly where we should be based on the majority of metrics (including transfer spend)If the season were to end as it is with Saints in 15th do you think the board would be unhappy? Would you be unhappy?

I am OK with that so long as we don't play like we did against Aston Villa or Everton first half too often!15th is pretty much exactly where we should be based on the majority of metrics (including transfer spend)
I should have known you'd be unhappy. What is the issue with trying something different? 3 CB's makes absolute sense given we have no fit RB apart from an 18 year old who has played 1 senior match against a League One side. I wasn't expecting Che to drop to the bench but I'm willing to see how it plays out.Ralph never fails to keep us guessing does he?

Because net spend does not automatically equal position in the table, or we could just do away with the football and finalise the league at the end of the transfer window.Exactly, it’s so weird people expect us to be any better when everything points to us being exactly where we should be. The PL is an utter **** league for us to be in if you want us to be seriously competing every week
Che has a tight ham string so they aren’t risking him.
Fair enough
You say obviously neglected CDM and didn't buy striker. I think attempts were made certainly for a striker and, I think, a CDM. Obviously neglected obviously isn't correct.I don’t know, I guess I’d be happy. We’ve spent quite a bit but have obviously neglected CDM and not bought a striker, so what can you expect?
If we start to play attractive football again and maybe bloody the nose of a big club that would be ok.
But can you say that awful run is behind us and won’t be repeated?
100% the correct call. Realistically we probably lose today with or without Che playing. We need him fit for Palace and NewcastleChe has a tight ham string so they aren’t risking him.

A good manager, good coaching, shrewd purchases and strong academy should factor in too.
Elyounoussi at RWB is a worry. But 2 DMs plus 3 CBs is pretty damn defensive anyway.
Gonna park the bus today.
Maybe the fitness staff have assessed he's fit enough to come off the bench. On the bench though. Might as well put Ballard in the squad.
