Yes, if, repeat if, we built another runway it would tip the balance an mean the end of the world, wouldn’t it?
there's literally nothing to talk about mangerial wise after martins, it's become completely closed circuit
Well personally I'm hoping that Acun doesn't fly too many prospective managers over, when there are plenty that are locally produced.
Yes, they should, but it would be substantially easier to take care of the small things first and then move on to the bigger stuff. In an ideal world China would get a grip, but they’re not going to without a massive policy change so it’s better to focus on things we can alter right now than things we can’t. Just because we’re talking about one thing, does not automatically mean everything else is off the table.
Because they don’t set the standard for climate change, we should. The USA and China both need a slap in terms of their environmental impact. In other news, I’ve heard a little whisper of a name on the interviews front. An international manager.
Personally I'm hoping that mad bastard Putin doesn't launch any ballistic missiles over...That would really **** the planet
Yes, we, responsible for about 1% of emissions should shut down, shiver in the dark and never go anywhere whilst China carries on regardless. The mindset.
Or we could target the 100 companies responsible for 71% of emissions? But that's a whole different mindset.
What have the last couple of pages got to do with a new manager? Can't mods shift some of these comments to "Off topic - climate change" or something like that?
How will our reducing things make any difference? If the UK shut down tomorrow it would only be a few months before levels were back to where they were due to China alone. Then there is India, the USA and elsewhere…Bolivia is worse than we are.
How much of those emissions are in this country? How many of those companies are UKmcompanies? How will you target them?
Because even the smallest changes help. Are you seriously saying we should do nothing because other nations just carry on regardless? What a great example that sets the younger ones: “ah don’t bother trying at anything, it won’t change anything” It’s not about attesting blame, that’s happened, it’s all of our faults, what needs to happen now is everybody needs to work on reducing their impact on the environment, even if it’s just one small change everyday.
