Even if I was a Corbyn supporter, which I’m not, it doesn’t change the fact that dopey old flag-shaggers like you have condemned us to this ****.

You were a Corbyn supporter, and now he's been shown to be certifiable, you're doing a Judas and pretending he's nothing to do with you. Anyone who turns his back on you is at risk. Just your nature

It's crazy isn't it? The Tories have taken us to the very same places they predicted Corbyn would do. How ironic

Any government that is in power for 12 years runs out of steam. Happened to New Labour. The Tories have a chance to redeem themselves now that Truss has gone. It'll be interesting to see

It's a farce and a general election is the only way forward but as you correctly state, that won't happen cos the Tory party would get walked all over.

Exactly right. Strolls says they're selfish ****s for not going for a GE. Maybe, but they're not ****ing idiots. They may not turn this around but in 2 years, they can give Labour a run for their money.

PS I don't want Boris back. Too liberal

I wouldn't worry about your last sentence, I'm hearing Truss is planning yet another u-turn and unresigning

He is nothing to do with me. He was the lesser of two evils, as demonstrated by the incompetence of your lot conning a load of absolute mugs they’d get Brexit done and destroying themselves and the country in the process.

Absolutely, bloke is a liability, while you continue to be an apologist for the corruption and incompetence of the last three years.

No supporter of Truss, and Johnson went off the rails. If it's Labour's turn at the next GE, so be it. But I still think if they get the right leader, the Tories can at least challenge Starmer

Their only chance is to acknowledge what the electorate already knows only too well - that Brexit has been an unmitigated disaster - and elect a Remainer as leader. There must be one or two left that they haven't kicked out of the party.

Why go for a ghost when Farage might stand again on strict immigration policy? Better still, Braverman

The one thing Truss had right was the need for more immigration to fuel growth in the economy. Farage and Braverman are the anti-growth coalition. Rejoining the Single Market (with its free movement) is the way forward and the next Tory leader should steal a march on Starmer by proposing it.

Even Starmer realises he can't join the Single Market and keep the Red Wall to stay in power. No sooner did we leave the EU, than the worldwide pandemic hit followed by a war in Europe. Only politicians that recognise that will be successful.
