There is not room for seri in this team at the moment
It's all well and good he created a chance or two

Modern midfielders have to work just as hard as 'defensive' midfielders
Otherwise theres a huge gap out of posseseion

Acun and Kesler have to take full responsibility for the haphazard transfer policy then. It feels a lot like he did a favour for Tufan’s career, who was persona non grata at Fenerbaçhe. Good player technically but what Watford and Fener fans have said about his work-rate has come to pass. Seri is quality but with no ball-winner next to him, he’s like an Audi TT with no engine. We’ve also signed Woods who wasn’t the right midfielder we needed at the time and we’ve signed a kid from Arsenal who was already injured and two Chelsea academy lads on loan. I don’t think Mystic Meg could’ve envisioned how **** Figueiredo has been so I’ll let Acun and Kesler off for that. Oscar has been the only coup this summer. Probably also Allahyar before his injury too. Tetteh has also been decent.

Mad that the bosses identified Ndayishimiye as a target in July, moved on after they couldn’t agree personal terms, then signed Woods.

Fig is a big head scratcher for me, he is a much better CB then he's showing ATM. Hopefully it's just a big slump in form and some time out will do him the world of good.

He wasn’t rated at Forest particularly until Cooper came in. It’s a funny one all round really. Don’t think he’s an upgrade on what we had last season though

He's obviously a player that needs the right man manager around him and I don't think shota is that person. I don't get the impression he's an inspirational leader

Yeah I guess so, just genuinely curious . As I thought all the people key in these types of decision would be the ones who did change, that’s all … thought we might need a new line up of ITK ..

There has obviously been many changes but i suspect many are still there working under the new regime, it's nice though that some can give us little bits here and there keeps the spirits up.

Terry Dolan and Mark Hateley. The dream team…

Acun had a dream

To retro-fit a football team

He got Mark Hateley and sent word to Dol-an.

With Trevitt at the back

And Andy Brown in attack

We are Hull City

The 90s are back.

Something Ive always felt in the championship is that if you start with more energy than the opponent and you are winning the 2nd ball, regardless of talent you have a good chance of picking up points.

Clearly the energy is a problem in this team and wether that is fitness, instruction or laziness I don't know and whoever is manager has to figure this out. With regards to the second ball, yes a ball winner would help, energy helps with this too but I have noticed that we are constantly out numbered in important areas of the pitch and loose the battle for the 2nd ball and this has more to do with positioning.

If players are in the correct place to pick up the loose balls then there does not need to be a physical battle for the ball, and in this league, one to one duals often result in a loose ball anyway so picking this up tends to be far more important than the actual physical battle itself.

Just did a quick Google of Corberán to see how he likes his teams to play. Possession-based and defensively solid, apparently. If we could get him, I think he could do a decent job here. Did a great job at Huddersfield.

I always find this argument pointless. Obviously it is entirely down to the players to get results on the pitch, but it is also entirely the responsibility of the manager to get them to do that, and if they aren't doing it, then he's failing. Obviously there are sometimes extenuating circumstances like injuries or available funds, but the "is it the players or the manager" debate is missing the point.
Not pointless at all. We are stuck with these players or bust. Who says they will lift a finger for the next guy. Totally disagree with you there
