What a day, 9 hour drive back from Skye, arrived just in time for us to go 1 down, by the time I got the suitcases out the car it was 1-1.
Just settling down for a cup of tea 1-2, tried to catch up on this thread then bang 2-2.
We never know when were beaten, couldn't be more pleased for Tony Mowbray and his young warriors, we've got some gonads in these young lads.
And to top a perfect day I got wordle in 2
Two week break and these kids deserve all the credit coming their way.
Yes there will be mistakes, they're still learning, us fans need to be less vitriolic and more understanding.
Chuffed to bits.

Good result and well deserved in the end.

Absolutely outstanding from Mowbray today. Not afraid to make bold decisions and it paid off.

Alese was excellent for the second game in a row, I'd say he was probably our man of the match.

Benette was superb. The way he moves the ball and takes off from a standing start is insane, so quick. He was so composed for his goal as well.

Ba looks ready to compete for a place in the team and was very comfortable on the ball with a good touch on him.

It's incredible that we can be so inconsistent within a game and still be unlucky not to win against a promotion favourite.

By the end of this season we'll be one of the best teams in the league. 95% of this squad has huge potential for growth.

The way injuries occur, ie 2 strikers and 2 defenders currently knacked... all the squad will be used over the season.

Very nice finish from Jewi. Kept it down very well. Can't wait to see these lads in the flesh back at the SoL

Said a few weeks ago on the transfer thread I’d like see Alese starting. Obviously playing with 3 at the back would mean LCB though - Cirkin has been absolutely outstanding but I think Alese has a lot to offer and having a 6’4 centre back on the pitch who’s rapid is a no brainer. Cirkin as a wing back with Alese as the centre back would be a great option if Clarke wasn’t fit.

I think if I was to pick our strongest team when all players are fit, and this would be a very difficult pick by the way because there’s numerous players who don’t deserve to be left out; Dan Neil as much as I think he’s not done anything special in the last 18 months has been very good the last few games. Bennette looks quality but I haven’t seen enough of him. Michut will be incredible, we’ll be a stepping stone for him IMO but we haven’t seen him play yet so I didn’t put him in. Danny Bathh has been solid but this team is based on us moving forward as a club and I think the 2 younger options will prevail.

And to be fair to Speakman he has stated this was the plan. The concern is we are going to lose some the more successful we get. However lets enjoy the moment.

100%. And that’s just how it goes unfortunately. But I’d rather watch young exciting players than plodders like what that baldy c*nt has left us to manage. We’re playing quality football at times, when was the last time we seen that?

I honestly think every person on here would pick a different team. The nucleus is there for a cracking 1st 11 but the bench is going to be automatic starters in most other championship teams.
