Yeah - to happen once is unfortunate. To happen twice, in consecutive weeks, must be infuriating.

Don't forget it happened to us up at Yorkshire, definitely once and possibly twice. I think one was Holland, not sure about other one without double-checking the scorecard.

Obviously it was annoying that Gay was dismissed at the end there, but if they can get close to 400 it will certainly make Surrey work hard for their points.

It's a very civilised and sedate way of adding on extra time, just to make the finish more exciting

 

I think if you offered me Surrey to be all out for 299, I'd probably take that.

Obviously I'd much rather 199. But that's looking unlikely right now.
