Trabzonspor suggested Kouassi to Hull City…
Hull City viewed this transfer positively, but the player said that he did not want to leave Trabzonspor for the club.
Up until now Acun has said that all of the signings were their main targets.
Clearly the lad one from Brentford was one of those. Acun then teased with another “surprise” winger/attacker but that one (still unnamed) has fallen through.
I don’t think Acun can now pretend that any that come in after Pelkas were intended targets. They will be second choices based on what’s available

Is that not every window for every club though?
If they improve us, then that's progress.
That doesn't make them bad players though.
Our targets have been really good players. If we don’t get the top tier and have to drop down a little that’s not a problem.
Or players that have now come available that weren't before
Me i will be happy with what we have when they are all fit, big improvement on what we had.
Anyone who thought this was a one window deal was way off base... we were/are in a position where two or 3 windows might have just get us what we need to fulfil Acun's dream. Its a shame the plan for this window and the injuries has forced things to go tits up, IMO lets get through this season comfortably and then make a proper go at it next season with square pegs in square holes....
What's gone tits up we are only 7 games in we are doing better than we expected to, we are up there other teams will get bad luck ours just happened all in one go.
I was referring to the injury table... and the hopeful additions that haven't materialised..

Would Kouassi even get a work permit? I don't think he's played enough for Trabzonspor in the last year
