Lots or reports today basically that Klopp isn't being fully backed. Utd have spent a bigger net transfer this window alone than klopp has in total.
I think they've rang round and found nobody on his list is available at this late stage. I think too much is made of it at times. Klopp was adamant he had what he had earlier so a few knocks and the light dawns in his eyes? Well unlike some (chelsea, forest for example) he is simply not going to buy just any old ****e.
He hasn’t really so hardly news. Or are they suggesting klopps pissed off by it? In which case doesn’t seem that way given what he’s said about transfer and coaching over the last 6 years
The way I'd consider that is an early shot across the bows sharticle that comes in the week of the transfer window closing. If someone is signed it can be forgotten and the same guy will be saying klopp got his way. If nobody is signed it can be trotted out again and made into a big deal if lfc lose another game. Starting to move on a target so late is always going to be really tough to pull off as 99% of Liverpool targets are going to be long term studied to get the best price at the right contract Remaining. If someone was there in that status we would have moved 2 months ago. The targets being mentioned in the press as guesses don't exactly seem like people at the state of play we like to shopping in on. The Brighton lad for example is on a long contract but has not actually proved himself over a reasonable amount of time yet. He could well be a long term watch for us but it seems premature
very sincerely doubt that as his attitude wouldn't algn with our needs. I have seen a story linking him to a move to Atletico as his contract is nearly up.
It wouldn’t surprise me after Klopps latest comments on taking a few more risks, I think he’s of the opinion that we need to take a punt as we’re simply too light in midfield and we haven’t got our targets in. I think it’s clear that Milner should be no where near the starting 11 outside of domestic cup games nowadays and the injuries we have aren’t really ‘unlucky’ , they’re always out, just at the same time on this occasion
That's all fair, it's just the attitude of that player that doesn't fit in my opinion. The contract situation does however. I find is a bitter convienent he was linked to atletico yesterday as well so we could be seeing an agent trying to force a move on deadline day anywhere he can
Yeah true, we’ll find out more soon enough I guess as the claim is we’ve actually made an offer, not just ‘are interested’
I would imagine the villa side would be quick to pipe up and reject the first offer base don the fact we are "desperate". I would anyway as there cannot be too many options for LFC at this late stage that would suit. there's 2 days of negotiations possible here yeah? 2nd sdept so i'd imagine if we really put an offer in we'd be hearing "sky sources" and all that ****?
a lot of that going around. arsenal are supposedly hanging round waiting for his price to drop as Leicester are not pushed to drop the price but he is again out of contract next summer.
attitude? performance? Afraid of leicester driving too hard a bargain? His best year was the year before last, he made his call then but forgot to look a superstar since. (mahrez got shafted by Leicester but played well and got the move, this lad has not done it)
Leicester will not like him to go for free. They are in difficult position because he refused to sign a new contract.
