The collapse reminds me of Ian Baker-Finch who won The Open at Royal Birkdale in 1991 and then his game collapsed to the point where he shot a 92 at Royal Troon and retired from the game in despair. that's 21 handicap level <yikes>

Nice of them to include a "WTF am I doing here?" gesture.

Sounds like yet again, training has been Dele’s issue.

Lampard’s said: “He really does need to understand the relation of training and focus at the highest level, to what that means to performance”

So that’s Jose calling him a lazy trainer and Lampard talking about focus and a seemingly lack of intensity.

His head just ain’t in it anymore. If this spell with Besiktas goes like the last 3-4 years, he’s done. He’ll be retired before he’s 30, or best case playing back at MK Dons - maybe such a move would even be good for him.

Related by the offside trap (one too slow to safely spring it, one too stupid to evade it) . ;)

Also featuring Weghorst from Burnley, Masuaku from the Spam and Saiss from Wolves.
Currently 3-0 up just before half-time. 2 from Jackson Muleka and 1 from Weghorst.

Typical amount of effort put into the celebration. You'd think they were 5 down and he'd scored a consolation.

Absolutely. He wasn't sacked for losing to City, Arsenal and Liverpool. He was sacked for the way he handled those defeats, throwing his employers and his entire squad under the bus of humiliation.

I think Parker was just saying back me or sack me. He got his answer.
I think it's fair to say that Bournemouth have been spectacularly unambitious this season.
Perhaps their owner, Russian businessman Maxim Demin, is having some cash flow issues?

    He's on holiday. Permanently.
Mr Demin became a British citizen a while ago though, so he's not subject to sanctions.
A lot of his wealth appears to be tied to Russian energy companies, though.
Might not fancy splashing the cash right now.

Sierra Leone captain Steven Caulker hopes to learn from his new manager Andrea Pirlo at Fatih Karagumruk to help with his long-term goal of becoming a coach.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool defender, 30, has signed a two-year deal with Turkish Super Lig side after terminating his contract with rivals Fenerbahce.

He was close to joining Championship side Blackburn Rovers before opting to sign for Istanbul-based outfit Karagumruk.
