We’ve got a good, young squad that will be absolutely fine with a few additions this week. Worth pointing out that Neil and Mowbray have similar records in the Championship.
A belief that it is a good thing Optimism Hope Going by his football reputation, not his rather munster like appearance. What's the alternative, sulk in a cupboard til he's gone?
Let’s bear in mind Mowbray has just spent 5 years at a championship club whose fans liked him, despite hardly any backing from ownership, and consolidated them in the division. and he resigned, he wasn’t sacked. Every time Neil has managed in the championship he’s got himself sacked. This idea that Neil was some management expert and Mowbray is a backwards step is just convoluted.
He’s been at a wedding (and is there now) so unless they trained really early, I wouldn’t have thought so.
There is a lot more bad than good, his football is not as good as people are making out, will take us no where, short term appointment so pointless, no ambition shown, cant change a game, very critical of the club previously any more? i can go on?
not who i wanted and a name that doesn't get you excited but on paper he fits the system plays similar football been watching us all season and has brought some young players through hopefully he can get us stable in the championship
I'm relaxed about Mowbray, wouldn't be my first choice but he'll keep us up (comfortably IMHO) which was my main objective for this season.
stable doesn’t mean bottom half. stable means secure here and able to invest over a series of windows to get us to a position where promotion would be sustainable
Well for what it's worth he'll do for me. We just need to feel our feet in this league, we got off to a good start but dropped off a bit lately. Can see Mowbray getting us nice a comfortably lower end of top ten which in the real world would be great after our past 4 seasons. Not the most exciting but we've had our slice of that this year so steady away will do me. Crawl before you walk etc.
