How do you know that? Mowbray took Albion into the PL...practically built a whole team and did it with a net spend and got rid of the bad apples. Something he won't have to do here.
Not a great reason but we need someone in place now to get some signings over the line. I'm OK with Mowbray for now
It’s my opinion he won’t be, he might well turn out to be an amazing choice, hope he is and I’ll support him. For the sake of the argument, He took Albion into the prem 14 years ago. Hasn’t done anything of note since. Here’s hoping his time here is a successful one.
His best days are behind him as a manager/head coach, he’s done nowt since he got West Brom promoted 14 years ago. short term, yes he’s ok, long term no
I’m ok with this appointment. Record is similar to Neil’s over a longer time period. If the goal is to stay up and stabilise this season he’s as good a choice as most available at the minute, imo.
I've slowly got my head around this but reluctantly. I just imagined us going for someone more youthful...dynamic and left field. But we get what we are given. I always thought of him as being boring but what the hell do I know!
How on earth can you think someone whose s hite is ok short term but not long term, if he’s s hite he’s s hite.
Van Hecke played for Mowbray last season I think? Might swing it in our favour if that loan deal is possible (if Potter allows it).
What a ridiculous statement. Sounds like someone who is unhappy because he has to go back to school next week!
